St. Jerome ECC will participate in this annual program beginning February 22 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The children are encouraged to save/earn their pennies (any change, cash or checks!) and donate to their classroom bucket that will be collected each week for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
St. Jerome ECC has participated in this project for many years as we remember Emily Lester, a former ECC student who passed away at the age of eighteen after battling with leukemia since age twelve. We purposefully plan this program during Lent as we foster the idea of sacrifice and doing good deeds for others. |
